Growing up, we used to make vids like this. Camera overhead, we lay on a big square carpet set up to look like a wall, when the wall was at our feet. Great illusion.

I looked into it since i posted, it's a 1907 colored film by Pathe's Spanish branch, by director Segundo de Chomón. Film is also known as "Juegos chinos".

what's the story behind this one? Is this from the early 20's? You can tell it's done by europeans dressed up in fabled japanese clothing, à la "Mikado", japonism and all.
